Ok, so I AM selling the E30. Im looking to get $2500 OBO for the car, and I think its fair. I need to sell soon, or it will go on ebay. Im selling it because the rear valence is smashed up on one point, and I dont really have a way of fixing it. Someone who has a rear valence can probably replace it pretty easily. So Im going to try to sell this, and put this money along with extra cash towards an e30 I can pour some money into.
The car is red exterior, with a tan interior. The engine has 160k and counting. The transmission is a manual 5 speed. Its absolutely completely bone stock. There are no rips in the interior at all. The only thing I did to the interior was paint the arms on the door panels black, since they were such a discolored dark brown when I bought the car.
To start on the engine., it runs absolutely perfect. The only other 325 E30s Ive driven has been my moms 325i auto/vert. And this obviously is much quicker, and feels like it has more pull. So I cant really tell you how "Great" it is for an M20b25, but im sure you can tell if you test drive it. For maintenance, I use just plaine castrol gtx 10w-40, with lubro moly anti-friction. It does not lose one drop of oil. I havent changed the oil for 2,000 miles, and checked the level today, it was exactly dead on where it was. I also only use 91 octane chevron, and every 3-4 fill ups I use the lubro moly jectron or valve cleaner, since theyre like $3 a can with my employee discount. When I got the car Ive been doing oil changes obviously, but flushed the coolant system, along with replacing all hoses. The motor has been definitely very well taken care of since Ive bought the car.
The exterior is pretty decent. The paint job isnt bad at all, it looks pretty solid. The thing that is killing me on the car, and the ONLY thing that kills this for me is the rear valence is smashed up, and the rear quarter panel is pushed in a little. That kinda kills the deal for me. I cant see putting money into something with a blemish like that. I bought it at the time, because the TI took a shit again, and really needed this as a DD, and it still is, it works great for that purpose. Or even a track car, or a car where you have a different rear valance/bumper youd like to put on an E30 anyhow. The "shadowline trim" isnt as great as others look. The chrome was just real dull, so I figured Id paint it, thought I dont think it looks bad at all. The same with the wheels, theyre just painted with dupli color wheel coating. The things I did to the car wasnt to make it look great, but rather to make it not look bad, like the spots did before.
The interior is nice, its the tan vinyl, with no tears anywhere. If you view the pics before, you can see the condition of the dash. The cracks never bothered me on either E30 Ive had, but maybe it will to you. There are just generic universal black carpets in the car. The carpets underneath are in real good shape, no holes or anything. The headliner is doing nicely, though Ive never had a head liner problem with E30s. The rear speakers are Kicker 2 ways, the fronts are still stock Im imagining (I havent changed em at least). The pioneer deck isnt included (my gf bought it for me, so I cant get rid of it). The stock deck is included though.
Well, here are some pics:

Im sure this is kinda a crappy FS ad, but if you have any questions, PM or email me.
Thanks, Joe
