    thrush GLASSPACk muffler, my results +clips

    today i bought a thrush glasspack muffler at advance auto parts for 33$
    exhaust clamps 5$<i dont have a welder available>
    3m metal tape<so i dont get leaks>

    total 40

    my results are that it sounds great nice N' throaty but not too loud or obnoxious, i like it!

    !!!! IM RUNNING STOCK PIPING WITH STOCK CAT, I ALSO HAVE STOCK HEADERS, MY CAR IS A 86' 325ES ETA!!!

      It looks like the holes probably hold the rust together on your car.

          Should get a tip to point the exhaust away from the valance. Did you gut the cat too?

                  i got some "obx performance" can on my car its nice and quite when you want it to be but has a nice tuned sound at wide open it dosnt look that but either.

                          i just did a little exhaust work myself today, sawzawed off the cat and replaced with straight 2 1/4 inchpipe from autozone for 5 dolars and a few exhaust clams for $2 each. Sounds very deep and throaty under excelleration but is still quiet when your cruisin on the highway or not accelerating.

                            One of the worst things I've seen done to one of these cars in my time around here... Oh well its a worthless rust bucket anyways.
