    How to remove door locks?

OK, I am almost done stripping a 318is, but I can't figure out how to remove the door locks! Do I remove them from behind? Any tips or tricks? I already removed the door cards, so most everything is already exposed.

Any tips on the trunk lock cylinder?

I got the ignition lock out pretty easily!

um, never mind. It seems I should have searched harder. I guess there's a c-clip behind the lock that I just have remove, then wiggle the lock out.

Door locks can be a PITA.

Remove cards, roll the window up. Theres a c-clip on the backside of the lock cylinder. Remove it and it should come out with some wiggling. It would be wise to take note of the orientation of the lock before removing, there is a lever that has to go back together or it will not work.

Trunk lock. Two 8mm bolts and it drops out. The lock is also attached to a rod for central locking, it simple clicks in, careful not to force it, the like to break.

Thanks Joe! Hopefully I can get this POS out of my garage sooner than later!

Kind of OT, but does central locking work with the door locks removed? I could just take one out and see, but this way is lazier. :D
