Hey guys thanks for the recommendations.
Got a whole bunch of good stuff going down at the shop, S50 swap, S14/2002 swap, Ford 5.0 E30 Swap (long term project), and all the standard maintenance work.
Past projects are too many to list.
Timing Belt labor is only $250 and includes a valve adjustment. Parts cost varies depending on what you want or need.
Suspension overhauls and chassis reinforcements, dash replacements, stereo installs, engine swaps and rebuilds, just about everything you can think of on a E30, I have probably done it.
Over 150+ E30's serviced, repaired or modified in the last 3 years.
20 years of Automotive service and repair experience, 4 years of dedicated E30 only service. I am the ONLY E30 specialty shop in SoCal, or anywhere for that matter.
Never had a dissatisfied customer, ever!
Lowest labor rate in the BMW business at $90 per hour, compare to the dealers and BMW independents at $150+ per hour!

I just sent you an email, I have this luching bucking problem with AC on that so far no one seems to be abel to fix.
Essentially, my 88 325is has retroffited AC, and with AC on, if I abruptly take my foot completely off the throttle then quickly back on, the car will lurch and buck.
With the AC off, the car simply slows down, then speeds up again.
I am looking for a mechanic that can fix this problem.

The eternal e30 lurching problem. Always start with chevron premium. ( My chip only likes certain gas stations) At least, add lucas to every tank. It could be any sensor, intake leakage, air flow metering, anything in the injector system, grounding problem, etc, etc. I couldn't afford this car if I took it to somebody every time it lurched a little. Always keep it close to redline, it seems to lurch a lot less that way.Last edited by bddog; 10-17-2009, 05:57 AM.
