Paintball Enthusiasts - Come in here please

So, I haven't played in quite a long time, and I'm selling off OEM car parts, as well as anything else I don't really need / have lying around.

This isn't a FS thread. This is a thread to hopefully gauge a price for the lot

I wanna put my old gear up for sale but I'm not sure what to ask for price since I'm out of touch and not sure what paintball gear goes for these days....

I'll link to photobucket album at the bottom, but this is a list (very much off the top of my head) of what I have. I'm doing my best to remember everything.

    Spyder e99 Marker
    -Deadonpaintball.com drop-forward
-Teflon line, i don't remember what it was called. Macro-line or something?
    -Shocktech regulator / front grip
-Smart Parts Bolt - Believe it was self-lubing or something like that, nylon?
    -Smart Parts All-American 2-piece interchangeable barrel. I believe it's a 6" base, and a 6" extension.
    -Java aluminum Feed Neck
    -Check It Trigger
-Had a newish solenoid put in before I stored it all, like 5+ years ago.
    - I'm sure I'm forgetting more... Has all the original lines, bolt, trigger, drop-forward, front grip, barrel etc...
    - Have manuals and original hardware and tools

    Halo B Belt-Drive Loader w/ a manual

Various cleaning supplies - Oil, barrel snakes

2 20oz. c02 bottles w/ thread protectors. 1 was working when I stopped playing, the fitting unscrewed from the 2nd bottle. No dings / damage otherwise.

Red Dye Invision mask w/ visor

    Random cheapo mask

Safety stuff - 2 barrel plugs and a barrel condom

JT 4 pod holder - Strapped to your back, access pods from the side

Box of 2k count paint (shells aren't soft, no broken in bags that I can tell)

2 Random Containers of paint - may or may not be good....

I have posted this on craigslist locally since I don't use it anymore, and no matter how much it pains me to sell, I know I can use the $$ more than the stuff taking up space.

Anyone's input is welcome... Maybe I should add this to my FS thread here?

    Thanks in advance.

I used to play local Novice tournaments, not interested in purchasing (quit about 2 years ago) but I figured I'll toss my $.02 in.

The Spyder e99, is a great marker, one of the first affordable electronic trigger models. Highly upgradable, parts cheap, reliable, and very quick. Would definitely recommend to new player as a marker you can use for quite some time.

The items he is selling is pretty much a complete package, you won't really need anything else to get you started. You can obviously upgrade your equipment as you go, but you won't need to buy anything else immediately, besides a tank fill, and some balls.

The missing screw on the side of the tank is considered a maintenance item, they cost about $3 plus $.25 for whats called a burst disk if one's not included with the screw.

Who ever buys this will have a ton of fun, and there really is no better way to get into the sport than a used parts lot.

Good luck with the sale! PS if the bolt is self lubing, it's derlin, and your correct it is called macroline.

Yes, Delrin bolt and macroline, thanks for your input! This isn't my FS thread actually, i'll move it there or add a link or something, I'm just posting in general looking for someone to suggest a price? I played the local novice circuit for like 2 years before I put it all away. I absolutely loved this stuff. If I do come back, and I'm planning to, im thinking autococker, bob long, or something similar.

Also, I took it apart quick to see if everything still moved freely. It does, however it's got a weak solenoid. I'm not sure if it's the solenoid or the battery though. The one in it was dead, so I tossed a 9-volt in I found in a drawer and it kinda worked. I might buy / find a good 9 volt tomorrow to make sure I know for sure.

EDIT: Just needed a fresh battery. Solenoid was firing like mad.

Solenoids did go in them every so often, I think it was more from inactivity than anything else. I used to have an '02 autococker when they first came out. Slapped a drop forward, a regulator, derlin bolt, blade trigger, kapp front assembly, boom stick barrel, o2 tank, and boomstick on it. That thing was awesome, my revolution hopper couldn't keep up with it. WGP ended up selling out to brass eagle like 2 years later, so they became kinda china crap, they were selling in Dicks and other big box places for crazy low prices.

I ended up selling my marker for $200, after all my friends quit. Pretty much this girl we were friends with was playing around with her boyfriend while everyone else was getting ready, she shot him a couple times, he went to shoot her back, as she's lifting her mask. Her fucking eye liquidated. Freak accident, all my friends were scarred and what not, didn't wanna play anymore. The way I see it, you don't want a creepy glass eye? Keep your mask on, simple as that.

Anyway pricing on paintball stuff is really all over the place, you get guys that bought it as midlife crisis, and need to get their wives to stop bitching, and you get kids that spent all of their money on it, and want most of it back. It's really up to you, but your best bet is friends of the family who's kids wanna start playing, it's a good way for them to save and a good way for you to get top dollar.

I hear ya. The mask thing sucks. We were all really safe and would physically punish people for doing stupid things. Sucks to hear about WGP... What's comparable to an autococker or bob long these days? they used to be the shit

I've been out of the game so long I just tried to go to one of the companies I was sponsored by's site, and they're not even in business anymore, but SmartParts has always been good. I mean there was the boycott on them back in the day over the whole electronic trigger patent, but that got resolved within a month or too. I've never actually met someone with a bob long, they were kinda like bushmasters. They were expensive, and looked crazy so you knew they had to be good, but no one could actually recommend them because no one had em.

lol, I hear ya. I played a few times with this crazy old german guy :hitler: (midlife crisis?) who had a Bob Long Intimidator.... It was sick... I remember him specifically playing capture the flag, indoors. I slid in to grab the flag, he lit my ass up from cover... 6 balls on the inside of my left leg... damn close to some important hardware.... The guy was awesome though lol. Really cool and funny, his gun was

I used to love seeing the back man in speed ball tourneys. It was always some fat guy, about 10 years older than everyone else, just covered in pods. You'd slide into a dorito and this fat guy slings about a thousand rounds at your bunker.

My favorite was always work parties when you'd get 8 or so guys in there 30's who had no concept of what was going on. I'd bunker the shit out of those guys, and they'd start pouting that they just got lit up by some 14 year old kid.

Unfortunately, used paintball stuff is almost worthless these days - $200 guns have eyes and are fully electronic.

Expect between 100 and 150 for the whole lot, I'm afraid.

Lol I played back in a few tourneys, hence the pods. Wow lol that was funny. I never bunkered with my friends unless someone was being an ass, then everyone would bunker him. The places we played frowned on it, but if you were sneaky and ran fast you could bunker the shit out of people. I would usually sprint out of the starting area along a side and have a clear shot into their starting area and just rip kids apart. Funny as hell, especially when no one saw you go over there.

jeezus, I clicked on it and before it loaded I saw the titled and thought "pfff this guy thinks he's cool cause he's got a tipmann." Then it loaded, holy shit that's a nice setup. I'm surprised the hopper kept up, when I was playing the Revolution with optical feed first came out, infact I bought the retrofit kit they sold for my old ass Revolution. By the time I quit, the Halo's and that wierd looking pointy one (ricochet?) were top of the line.

When I left the halo b, the one I have was the best of the best, followed by the egg II

The Halo has been re-released as a ~$50 budget loader, the Invert Too.

I would probably make sure to sell the invision separately, those are really nice masks (if in good condition) and might fetch a good price. Ebay might be a good idea.

The ricochet was really only a hit with woods players, a buddy of mine had it, it was pretty neat designed to deflect balls off of it. Problem was it would deflect them right into your face sometimes.

I'm pretty sure they had issues with the necks snapping off egg II's. VL evolution II right? In my opinion Halo was the way to go, I just didn't have the money.
