I was walking through the junk yard today ....there sat a junked e30 325ix so i got some thing and then i got this(pics below) because i had no clue what it was looked important or at least rare since i have never seen something like this so i got it brought it home took pics and now im wondering what it is please help

its the ski bag attachment that goes through the ski hole behind your rear seat. keeps your skis in place or something.

i have no idea how much it is worth.

yes, it's the ski bag. It keeps the passenger area dry from dripping skis. I have no idea how much it's worth either but I'll buy it for $20 if you're willing to sell it.
