    Dual Intake Throttle Bodies?

I know I'm a newb when it comes to BMW's but I was looking at the Intake Mani and it seems like it'd be possible to put another TB on the other side. Relocating what's there currently.

    Has this been done before?

Being as there are only like 2 BMW "intake Mani's" ever produced, which one do you mean?

Yeah I knew I'd get flack from someone about saying "intake mani"... yes, I know it's intake manifold.

I mistook this post for being in general.

I have personally seen this conversion many years ago. Unfortunately the guy did not meter air coming in through the 2cd TB. He had apparently got the tuning right at the coast but when he came inland to a track event (at 1,600m altitude), the substantial difference in air pressure threw everything off and the car could hardly be driven. Cars usually lose 15-20% of their engine power at our high altitude.

I also have an intake manifold where I could attach opposing TBs. Reason for this : the previous owner had a turbo without an intercooler, so the tuner relocated the TB closer to the turbo and closed the original TB opening with a plate.
