    My 1988 325 IS

As you can see the paint needs to be redone, and the wheels that the last owner had aren't the prettiest.
    what do you guys think?

I think it's time to do work, son.

Hahahah sorry, I didn't really mean that, I just thought it was funny, for some reason I thought of the cookie monster when I saw the third pic and I couldn't explain why if my life depended on it. :D

I'm with you on this one. I thought I would be the only one to reference Cookie Monster when I saw the first couple pictures, lmao.

Apparently the hood is not his style.

It's not a bad place to start. Wheels could be pulled off with nothing but fresh paint IMO. They're not the greatest but they wouldn't be my first concern. :drink::drink::drink:

The hood is just really faded, whoever had the car last must have had that portion of the car in the sun quite a bit, because it is the only place on the car where the paint is that bad.

The tires on the car right now are relativley new, so some new wheels are coming soon.

                      Probably ASA AR1s.

Any other wheels you guys would suggest?

I actually dont think that those wheels are that bad. Voxx MG 15x7, right? Ol reliable are some euroweaves.

Yeah they are MG's 16s though.

They don't look terrible in the pictures, but the wheels are pretty beat.
I think the car would look a ton better with some more euro style wheels.

I can't really tell from the pictures, but if the hood is just oxidized, you may be able to cut through the oxidation with a buffer and have it looking good as new. Grab a porter cable, some pads and compound, or see if there's anyone local to you that has the equipment.

I don't think it's oxidized. the primer is coming through in some places.
Needs to be sanded and repainted anyways, there are quite a bit of knicks from rocks on the front of the hood.

Also Plastic bumpers may be coming soon, a guy has a set locally for cheap I might pick up.
