    they look adjustable am i wrong? i bought it like this and there was no mention of aftermarket shocks.

    That's the nut that holds the strut in.

        that is the huge nut that holds the strut in the tube. it looks like its nice and loose in that picture, shouldnt have that many threads showing, maybe one max.
