    FS: Ruger 10/22

    ***** SOLD *****
Did some looking, don't think this is against any rules... But I could be wrong.

I'm looking to sell my recently acquired Ruger 10/22. Less thank 1k rounds (close to like 500-700). Bushnell glass and a Tactical Inc. 25rnd mag. Absolutely nothing wrong with any of it to the best of my knowledge, the gun's just not rubbing me right and I'm wanting to sell quickly to help pay for a Savage MkII.

Asking $300 OBO (open to negotiation... I've never sold a gun before, and I'm not really sure what it's worth).

Paid like $260 for the gun, $45 for the glass, and like $25 for the mag, so with such a low round count and it spending its life in a case and being well taken care of, I figured the price wouldn't be too far off.

    PM or post here

Yeah, I happen to have one on my phone from when I first bought it, mag is still in the bag even.... I'd take "fresh" pics, but the Bushnell isn't mounted right now, and it's all packed up in the case and shit.

You would have to take it to a dealer near you then have it shipped to a dealer near him. That is a really good price too!

Thanks, a few locals have been telling me its way overpriced, but like I said... Never sold any of my firearms before, this is just the first one that's really not rubbing me the right way and I'd like to sell soon so I can pick up a Savage MkII :)

yup farb will have to find a FFL near him that will accept the shipment and do his paper work, and you will have to take it to your FFL, and have them send it out to his. They do this all the time and its not a that big a deal.

What kinda fees / paperwork are expected on either end? + shipping costs or what? Like, what all costs would come into play, and who'd be responsible for what?

Actually all you have to do is ship it to a dealer that the buyer chooses. You can ship UPS. Must take it to a hub though. UPS local store will not ship it. Rifles can be shipped ground, pistols have to be shipped overnight.

You would just have shipping fees, the buyer will have to do a background check at the dealer you shipped it to before he is able to pick it up.

If its a local sale, face to face, just make sure you keep a copy of his/her drivers license and have him/her sign a bill of sale. Keep that with your important papers.

Thanks Dubin. There's been some local interest, and I'm waiting to get an email back from someone who wanted to see it tonight or tomorrow.

                          Sold it this afternoon....

I kinda chuckled afterward because I instantly thought back to the movie "Lord of War" w/ Nick Cage...

The dude didn't haggle at all, saw the pic, met with me, cycled the bolt like 3 times and handed me a wad of cash lol.
