So, after about 3 years of owning the car and knowing that I needed to do the rear subframe I procrastinated and procrastinated. Because I knew it was going to be a bitch. Sure enough it was. It was worst case scenario, but for those cab owners rest assured that with proper tool, this can be done without much headache, you just have to take your time.
So.

David came over, and I just had the car jacked up. Thank god for my friend yermo, and the AC fitted garage, this wasnt as painful as it might have been.

another shot of taking off the wheels and getting started.

getting down to business, starting to disconnect the brake lines.

working on the other side

another shot

taking off the brakes and rotors while its on, I figure it was much easier
I had trouble as the rotors were siezed on the hub, I had to use a 3 jaw puller, to yank it off the hub. It was impressive when it disengaged, like it was going to hit my face, but alas it didnt it just drop to the ground.

the other side.
david chillen.

subframe bolt and plate undone. This was simple enough
Then here is where it happened, I was too busy so not alot of photos were taken.
1.) we wiggle the subframe and one side was already dismount "some what" I was trying to pull the frame without taking out the pin, using 3 jaw puller. EPIC FAILURE. well, the side that the bushing was almost separated it worked, on the driver side it didn't, and as we try to use the 3 jaw puller we ejected the pin up into the cabin with super spring force. AWESOME...
Either way, Phaedon man handle the other bolt to get it to the top. So both pin needs to be knocked out on the cab. For Cab owners, there are baffles in between where the pin is, so you will hit nothing as the pin flies up. Just pound the shit out of it.
We got the bolt out. And... Wiggle and wiggle jump on hte subframe, and it came crashing down.
Bad news... the top of the sleeve broke off inside the chassis, flush.
