Well, how long has the car been for sale? I mean, seriously, the guy needs a reality check. Book value on it in good shape is only like 13k, if that. He's got a salvage title car that he has likely already been paid in full for, and now he's just trying to profit further.

I might be interested in going half up to about 6k (3k on my end.) Much over that, meh, too much for just a motor and wiring harness.
