Cluster battery issue... Stumped!

    Cluster battery issue... Stumped!

    Just pulled cluster apart to replace what I assumed were dead batteries. Threw a multimeter on the batteries just for fun, and they are reading 2.85v or so if I place multimeter leads directly on the batteries. Place the leads on the solder tabs or whatever that then solder into the PCB, and I get 0V. I also get 0V on the solder nubs on the back side of the board - what gives??

        put some new solder on there.

          somewhere you have a a cold solder joint which let up.
