Alright, I'm looking to thin out my herd. Up for sale is my 91 325i auto coupe. True mileage is unknown as I bought it with a broken odo that said a little over 50k. I know it isn't true because the title said it had the same mileage in 08. I'm guessing it's somewhere between 100k-150k. That said, it now has a working odo that reads 154,5xx. This thing isn't the prettiest, but it runs fantastically and would make a great daily driver (that's what I've been doing with it, and still will until sold.)
Good:
~2000miles on a top end rebuild:
Bought it with a broken timing belt. It got:
refreshed cyl head (new valve seals, lapped the valves)
New timing belt
New timing belt tensioner
New water pump
New top end gasket kit
New IE 8mm spark plug wires
New spark plugs
New upper and lower radiator hoses
New power steering feed hose, return hose, and reservoir
~1000miles on new crank sensor (installed by Levent @ GPS (this is the e30 that died and was towed by the benz at this years Gutenfest))
~200miles on new fan clutch
~200miles on trans pan gasket and filter
Lowered on bavauto springs/bilstein shocks (unknown miles, bought a parts car with them on it)
Excellent condition black leather sport interior
Decent condition 14" weaves with almost full tread Michelin's
Cold a/c converted to r134a
Windows and sunroof work perfect
Doesn't burn or leak a drop of engine oil
Mostly complete tool kit
Muffler has been deleted (was rusted out anyway)
Now onto the bad:
Transmission leaks occasionally
ABS light is on
SRS light flashes at you
Mechanically that is it!
Cosmetically the hood, rt fender, valence are dented and front bumper is cracked.
The worst part is the roof that has weird rust on it at the front corners of the sunroof (see pics)
Has cheap tint on the side windows
Carpet is stained
3 cracks the dash
