    Another Leatherique Redye Thread!

Here's my first redye attempt with Leatherique. Definitely not a professional job. I'm toying with having the interior reupholstered, so I didn't take as much time as I probably should have. I think it still came out reasonably well for a first attempt.
Not super amazing, but still pretty cool.

The pics really don't do the final product justice, my apologies. They don't look like plastic in person. Bright fluorescent lighting at night and a cell phone, FTL!

I'll try and get some better pics when I put it all back in the car!

    Before

***The outlined areas were the only spots with actual cracks in the leather. That's where the crack filler was used.

honestly if you are handy it is surprisingly straight forward; you just need to be patient. I think my next round of seats, I am going to order the leatherique kit with the crack filler and see what kind of results it gets me.
I like the fact it gives you option of brush or spray. Everything though is going water based which I'm not totally crazy about.

What'd the kit run you? The bolsters in my E36 could use some love.

actually I did visit the web site and 200 is #4 and the 300 is #5. roughly.

but you get practically everything to dye the whole interior incl door panels.

I just verified the cost of everything that I used. I was close with my earlier estimate of $200/300.

The kit I received came in at $198 and change and included 32oz bottles of Rejuvenating Oil, Pristine Clean, Prepping Agent, Black Dye, and 2oz jar of Crack Filler. Hope that helps!
