How To Fix Your Floppy Ass Air Vents (the broke ass bitch edition) (with pics)

You: Hi Trevor. So I just finished nefarious7907's tutorial to fix my heater core, but my vents are too floppy to function! I bought my car like this, and my vents are always facing down. I would really like to enjoy by heater.. how can I fix my air vents without spending money?

Me: Shut the fuck up and listen you broke ass bitch

    SHIT YOU WILL NEED

STEP 1: GET THE FUCK IN THE CAR

STEP 2: RIP THAT SHIT OUT

You: But Trevor, I don't know how to take out my air vent.

Me: Make that shit face down, then make it face down more. Then keep pushing that shit down until it pops. Rip that shit out.

For real, though. Just push it down.

STEP 3: TAPE THAT SHIT UP

All you trynna do is make it so a little piece of da tape is in the hole area becuz then there's less room for da little tube piece that goes in da hole 2 move around. I made the tape brown so u no im not racist

You could just put a small o ring in place.

Small o ring on the shaft or thinly sliced piece of vacuum hose will do the job well.

Good fix, I did it a little fancier. I shoved a dime in the gap. Yeah, it cost me a full $0.40, but I'm worth it...

I did what he did, but instead of tape just put a small piece of felt and jammed it back in there....they move easily by touch, but stay still, even on the biggest bumps/potholes with my stiff suspension.

This is the only way that should be done. Costs less than a $1 and you don't have shit hanging off everywhere.
