    C101 pin #7 issues

I going through my cars wiring,'91 318is. I tried starting it as soon as I put the ignition in second position it started smoking. Traced a green wire from underneath the dash through the fuse box to PIN #7 on C101. I just finished a swap (m20 stroker/boost) and diypnp w/ wasted spark. All my windows are not working as well including sun roof???

I did some research and found...

Pin#7 – Green – B+ - Same as Pin 6 without the fuse. In the e30 this is used by the DME as an off and as a power signal to the coil. In a swap this pin should be used whenever a switched 12v source is needed that is NOT fused. For example ECU turn on signal.
Does this mean I can eliminate it? Since I went with wasted spark now???

Also found this from e30 Zone Wiki

    "pin/7 color/green function/switched power to/ignition switch"

Any help or advice is appreciated!
