Stock aux fan Mounting with no A/C

So I'm going to use the stock AUX fan with a lower temp switch and lower temp t-stat. The stock mounting location for the AUX fan is to the A/C condensor. But I'm not going to be running A/C so how did you guys mount the Aux fan without the condensor?

    Thanks

you can buy euro fan brackets for about $20. They bolt up like a charm and look nice too. I'm sure if you search the r3v forum someone has them, sorry, my part numbers are not handy.

never heard of the euro bracket way... thats awesome.

on my last car i just gutted the condensor and used it as a bracket.

Anyone got a VIN number off a euro car? I've searched and can't come up with the parts numbers for the brackets. I've looked on realoem.com and still can't come up with it.

Copied from a thread on s14.net, I have these and they work well and were inexpensive with my BMWCCA parts discount at my local dealer:

            Brackets:
            Left: 17 40 1 372 828
            Right: 17 40 1 372 829
            Lower: 17 40 1 373 069

These are for E30 cars w/o A/C and they mount the fan
up nicely to the radiator. DO NOT make the mistake I
did of removing the part number lables before
marking which one is which side. Pasted here are the
instructions I got from Eric, they are excellent:

            >>The lower bracket is really only a cup that mounts
to the fan housing and sits on top of a rubber bumper.
I believe you should have two left over from the
condenser removal. Also, you get to reuse the little
rubber grommets and bolts where the fan housing
mounted to the condenser. You'll have to use a new
shorter bolt to mount the bottom bracket (cup). You
also have to rotate the fan housing a little. On the
condenser, the fan mounted with three bolts at
            approximately the 3, 7 and 11 o'clock positions. With
the new brackets, it'll mount at the 2, 6
            and 10 o'clock positions.<<
