got the 'German Mistress' out on Homestead Motor Speedway, (uh huh, where Nascar Nextel/Sprint Cup is settled every year) but using the road course configuration for ALMS and Grand Am. My third outing with NASA, and was able to move to Solo/HPDE2 after being tested as this event.. got my brother to snap some shots so I could share my joy !!

depends on the Club -- Once every few months.. but between the two Main So Fla clubs NASA & ChinMotorsports and tie in some AutoX for Test & Tune .. you could squeeze in maybe 2 events per month

for the first few sessions, there was an instructor present in the car -- even though they encourage spirited driving, they are looking for smoothness and consistency. at this level i'm not racing door to door, but i am trying to be as fast as I could around the track. Examples of cars that would 'point me by': Ferrari F355, Evo9, Lotus ExigeS, MiniCooperS, to name a few. Of course, these cars in the proper hands will hand me my ass. But not that day !!..
On the Flip side, I've had my fair share of pointing by those pesky Z06vettes, various 911's 944's, turbo & S/C'd 350Z's and yes, some Miatas..

Hey Slick, I was the Orange MINI out there yesterday. I'm running that until I build my SpecE30. Unfortunately my day was cut short, I shredded my belt on the cool-down lap of the first session. I got it fixed in time for the second session where I was behind you for a couple laps before it blew again. Hope to see you out there again next time, hopefully my 325 should be done in a few months as I'm building the engine now. Are you planning on racing with NASA in the future?
