It's a moot point though. The new S.drive is replacing the ES100 this year, and it's supposed to be faster in both dry and wet (faster in wet wouldn't be very hard to do...), with better treadwear. I'm hoping I get good testing on those before I buy new tires for summer.

a 205 would not be a good choice on a 8" wheel thou. I have 16x8 and a bunch of 16x7.5's that will be needing tires.
RT 615 would be a great dry summer tire but here along the coast we tend to get some unexpected thunder storms. Having tires with the good rain channeling is more asuring than just dry tire.

Falken makes 225/45-16 in a few different tire models.
FK451,
FK452, a "VIP" or reinforced version of FK451
and ZE512, 420 treadwear all-season tires.Last edited by 92 mtechnic cabrio; 02-11-2007, 09:18 AM.

A tire is not supposed to be "stretch mounted" onto a rim, ever, and if a 205 is okay with a tire company to be mounted onto a 7.5" rim, then it won't be stretched.
