I have seen the ad, not the car in person. I think it is a bit on the pricey end. The car appears stock other than the wheels. I bought my E28 533i for $550 and sold it for $1700...

Hmmm, I have a Jeep cherokee and DONT have a 5'er.

This could be lucrative, if you can get some money plus the E38 for your Jeep.

I've been researching e28s and possible engine swaps for my next project. I am thinking an e28 with an m62 and a 6 speed would be quite a lot of fun...

It has been done, and it sounds AMAZING, but not a straightforward swap. Its a bit of a PITA engine. skip to about 0:55 in this vid. Its an M60 swapped E28. It sounds heavenly.

Just boost the M30. Easier and better for our high elevation.

+1 to this. Easy 450 whp with a custom turbo setup OR a TCD turbo set-up.
