How could you not think it would sell? Almost every BMW guy I know has owned, or wants to own a 2002 some time in their lives.
They have a huge fallowing, and are an iconic symbol of BMW and what BMW stands for (should stand for ;) )
They have brought BMW victories across the board in many events including rally racing.
Name another BMW that is popular with the old school purist crowd who like to putter around and talk about the "good old days," and just as popular with youngsters like me who like to slam them and squeeze m20's into them.

    dooooo iiiiitt! :)

Might as well want an Isetta. As long as e21 and e30 still exist, the 2002 belongs in a museum or something. IMO the e30 is worth more "praise" (and therefore, a shirt), by a lot.
2002s are great cars, no debate there. with that said, that's not the only factor that goes into these decisions for me. if this were a 2002 message board, i'd probably be more easily swayed to do one. for now, i think i'm gonna stick with e30 stuff on r3v.

i always post the new bmw designs here when i have them though, regardless of what they are, so you won't miss out when we do one. ;)

well so much for doing something new and different. i feel like the e30 has been done plenty.
you should go on the 2002 faq page and see how many people there are interested in an '02 shirt.

lol really? isetta compared to a 2002? that is like comparing a banana to a cherry. two very different things completely. or saying you might as well just buy a e46 because the e30 is old and out dated. there is more to a car then new design and functionality. if i had to look at one car for the rest of my life i would choose the 2002 over an e30 any day.
i strongly disagree with you. 2002's are special (and so is the isseta) while the e30 (though a wonderful car!) is just another square 80's car.

Well, I´m honestly glad that you and I (and others) disagree. The world would be very boring if we all liked the same things. True, I exaggerated in my comparison, but just trying to emphasize the point in question. I mean, this is an E30 forum, isn´t it...

OP, do you have any designs/drafts lined up yet?

                M20 engine bay
                Something I6 related
An evolution of the I6 manifold
                ...just spewing.

I like the simple / abstract idea, however there are already a hand full of those on the market.

My secondary proposition is for you to come out with e28 coils, roughly within the next month, so I don't have to drop a paycheck on some Ground Controls.

how about a Racing Dynamics M20 with the 24V head and ITB intake and headers? IDK? Just an idea for the M20 comment above.
