I have had this car for about 3 years now and have recently been toying with the idea of selling it, but I am really not sure what the value of it would be in the current market. I love this car and have put a lot into it to get it to where it is, however I may need to downsize the fleet in the future and just wanted to get an idea of what this car might be worth. Thanks in advance for any input, details and pics are below.
1984 325e Lapisblau Coupe
325i engine swap from a ’92 325ic
154,xxx miles on the new engine (~144,xxx on the body)
Manual Transmission
Upgrades:
- Bilstien Sport Shocks all around
- Eibach Springs all around
- ECS Tuning Stainless Steel Brake Lines all around
- Z3 Steering Rack
- Z3M Short Shifter
- Turner Motorsport Performance Chip
- Scorpion Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust
- K&N Air Intake
- 3.73 Limited Slip Differential
- Bavarian Autosport Strut Brace
Interior:
- Black Leather Heated Sport Seats: fronts are from a vert (horizontal stitching), worn condition but no tears or major blemishes, heat works in both seats, black leather rear is in good shape, black door cards also in good shape
- Black Parcel Shelf: re-carpeted (not dyed), no fading, early model so no third taillight (there is a third tail on the spoiler)
- Pacific Blue Carpet: minty condition, have had mats in the car at all times since installed
- Dash has a few cracks
- Kenwood Radio
- 13 Button OBC, no oranging on display
- Heat works well
- No AC
- Automatic Sunroof
- Headliner was sprayed black by PO, has some small tears
- **Momo Prototipo Steering Wheel and Condor Shift Knob would NOT be included in sale, would replace with stock parts**
Paint:
- Professionally sandblasted down to bare metal and sealed with epoxy coat before painted
- Car was repainted, wet sanded, buffed, and waxed by myself (not perfect but was done properly with air compressor/paint gun and in a paint booth)
- Repainted original Lapisblau (engine bay was resprayed as well)
- Valve cover and crab were blasted and clear coated
- Engine was removed and resealed while car was undergoing paint
Exterior:
- Body is straight, no dents, rust-free
- Car is originally from North Carolina, was only driven for one winter here in VT, was then painted and has since not been driven in the winter
- Late Model Bumper Conversion
- IS front lip, painted matching blue body color
- Shadowline Trim was repainted when body was done
- Clear Side Markers and Turn Signals
- Crack-free Taillights
- Hartge Replica Rear Spoiler with third taillight
Wheels:
- 15” Alpina Replicas w/ Centercaps: clear coat is peeling in some places, no major blemishes
- Yokahama S-Drives, 205/45/15 (lots of tread left)
