Exhaust hanger thats welded to the body sheared off...

I had a friend of mine weld a hanger temporarily, but is part attainable? I checked realoem last night, and didn't see a part for it.

The piece that sheared off holds the rubber circle to the exhaust.

pull one off a car at a junkyard or fab a new one. Pretty sure there's no part number as it is supposed to be permanently attached to the car.

Unless you mean the lower one, which should be included in any of the oem exhaust mounting kits around

yeah its the upper one welded to the car. Was hoping there was a part # for it. Maybe take a lower one, flip it, and weld it.

I had this same problem. I cut one off a junkyard car and had it welded on.

yep, i was actually able to source a new replacement BMW bracket exactly like the one that broke. I had my exhaust shop grind off any existing pieces of the old bracket, and weld in the new one. Its as good as new :D

Could you share your source and part number of the new replacement BMW upper bracket that has to be welded on? I'm having the same problem.

              Thanks,
