Alright so I called my local shop and found out that the total for cutting/welding my new muffler and cat on that I want will be around 500. (That's not the total of the job being done, it's the total after buying the new muffler and cat THEN having it cut and welded. So the overall total of everything) my question is, is this I good/fair price for all of this and the work, or is there a better way about doing this? (For example, should I just look into a catback for about the same or what other options, if there is any better ones) if this is a typical price and it woundnt change anything whether I do what I'm looking into or going another route, I'll just stick with the muffler and cat, I just wanna know if 500 for everything is normal.
