Probably a good deal, but you are on the wrong coast, unless you want to road trip it home.

Pretty sure it would be a better deal for someone in New England.

Seller said he'd ship to Southern CA for around $700

Seems like a fair deal for you, just be sure it has the stock or CA legal
catalyst still on it if you have to pass a visual inspection in CA.

I'd get pictures of the suspension/underside and a video of the car in operation before buying a car remotely.

Seems a bit high with ESM's, & non sport seats. I spoke with # listed on ad and he's listing for his uncle and has no clue about recent maintenance (timing belt, water pump, coolant etc.) His Uncle owns a mechanic shop and did all maintenance at his shop and has receipts for everything.

Also, he claims there's only two owners, but when guy sent me carfax report it shows 4 separate times the title was issued or updated. Not not sure if that means it was transferred to new owners.

Is that the stock exhaust with chrome tips or an aftermarket exhaust?...person claims its 100% stock.

Hard to say without taking a look in person but probably about where it is right now. It's clean but pretty bland imo. Good stock starting car...

I agree it's pretty bland. I don't think it's worth more than 5k. I'd look to upgrade suspension, wheels (style 5's), steering wheel, IS front lip and maybe front sport seats.

Looks pretty darn clean, worth current bid imo.
Parts can always be added, rust and paint are always a pain. So as another member said, great base case.

Pretty clean, ODO stopped working at 118k and owner believes mileage is around 150k. Dash is cracked with dash cover, sunroof works but there is a broken part in mechanism, small tear in back seat. Looks like there is a dent on the front valance to the left of the right fog light. Recently dropped price to $8,800 from $10,000.

                        Thoughts?

that looks like a damn nice car. probably worth about what he is asking. try to get it for less if you can. i would say 7k would be an exceptional deal for that one.

The seller clearly knows about Bring a Trailer and knows how the value of 318is' in particular are absolutely insane.

That point kinda sticks with me. Why not list it on BaT, feed the E30 tax machine, and bring in higher cash? Is there something he is hiding about the car, that he knows wont survive the scrutiny of a BaT comment section?

This is all speculation, obviously. But it doesn't feel right to me.

I just got this for $5500.

If the link works, it's a nice clean eta car. I've tried to fix the link but I'm afraid it won't work.
