So, I had a learning experience yesterday. Figured I'd pass it along.

This is all for manual transmissions, US spec.

M30 cars:

533i 6/84 - 9/84 1592mm

535i 9/84 - 9/85 1522mm

535i/is 10/85 - '88 1566mm

ETAs:

528e 5/81 - 9/82 ????mm

528e 10/82 - 9/83 1566mm

528e 10/83 - 4/86 ????mm

528e 5/86 - '88 1566mm

So, there you go. I learned this the hard way.
