              344whp!!!!

Highest HP M3 ever on our Dyno
E46 M3, BW headers and Race Exhaust, Intake and stock airbox:
Car came in with a mildly modded by TRM stock tune and put down the baseline numbers which are the highest baseline weve ever seen. After tuning we ended up at 344whp!! Insanity!!!

Mainly vanos changes. Slight increase in Ing advance and major changes to AFR.

Tuned another S54 today, this time it was in an E30 and a R3v Members!
Stock airbox, some crazy 3.5" exhaust, also let some oil out on dyno as it was overfilled slightly. Nando Euro Tune vs Dyno tune.

                      And yet another E36 M52. M50 Manifold, S52 cams, OBD2 headers, OBD1 midpipe
Stock US tune vs Full tune

Can't wait to drive this one again now that it's tuned.

                        30whp gain, nice work man!

Kinda funny how the stock Euro tune kills low end torque!

The 3.5" exhaust does that, the graph is still shows MUCH lower torque below 3.5k than a stock e46 m3. A stock e46, or an s54 with a proper dual exhaust should make at least 200wtq by 2k rpms. Unless it's a track car, dual 2.5" performs better on most S54s, below 7k rpms. Single exhaust on an S54 ruin low end torque, as the Vanos relies so heavily on scavenging. The same happened when we put a generic X-pipe too close to the headers in my dual 2.5" exhaust on my S54 E30 M3. When we removed the x-pipe I gained 18wtq from 1700 - 3.5k rpms.

IMO the 10whp gained up top with the single 3.5" up top and slightly better torque to redline, is not worth the low-end and early mid-range torque. Plus the single 3.5" is obnoxiously loud!

if you put the y-pipe that merges to 3.5" in the right spot you dont lose the bottom end anywhere near as much. seems to be more about length than size in this area of the exhaust.

just maintain the twin secondaries (collector) far enough before using a Y or X and you'll be sweet
