    car shipping process

Hey guys, I was wondering for all of you who have shipped or been involved in transporting a car from one state to another, what is the process? I found the perfect car, but its on the other side of the country. Also, is there a guarantee that all the parts that the previous owner claims that the cars has will actually be there?
Its in California and i live in NJ

    Thanks for any info.

Get something in writing from the seller stating what you are paying for including the car, parts etc.

Call a bunch of vehicle transport companies and get the best quote. Enclosed will be more expensive but may be worth it to the buyer. Have the transporter check off on items when they pick up the car.

The company will most likely give you the contact for the driver of the transport truck who you can check with to see the status of.
