So I bought a B&M short shift kit for my 84' 325e, (not the cheap ebay one) so I undid the b!tchclip, disconnected the shift mechanism from the shift rod, and I go to place the new kit in the shift cup. Doesn't fit even though ECS said it would!:evil: anyone done this before and know how to get around it?
