Acura Integra Type-R - OT: 3,000 LB SI Bus + 225's and one hell bent driver = broken chit - Real quick: Summit Point Raceway yesterday. Mix one heavy, turd slow, Civic EP, add two parts cheap, lightweight cast wheels, whip in way too wide 225 rubber, boil for 45 minutes, a hell bent Honda driver trying to pass a Grand...
dont forget jack is exceptionally hard on wheels on the track it seems.
I dont know why every is posting wheels that wont fit e30s...
There is a much larger market of 4x100 bolt wheels for the Civic crowd than the e30 crowd. The civic has created market for lightweight wheels. Adding spacers isnt to much of an extra cost.
Unless the ITR or similar's had a 4x114? Is that what you are refering to?
If you want the ultimate in lightweight race rims, you'll want the Gram Lights 57CF,15x6.5 / 7, +12, +25, +38, 5.4lbs/5.9lbs. (special order from Japan, $300/each). They are the preferred race rims over there. If anyone wants to go in on some sets, I have a contact here in the US that will give bulk discounts........
Believe the list would be for a Miata, so hub centerbore / offset all wrong But gives some ideas.
The typical Spec Miata wheel, Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1, 15x7, ET30 or ET40, 13.2 or 13.6lbs, $109.
Pro-Race 1.2 have flattened spokes for less damage when you snuggle up with a neighbor. ET30 only, $114.
Pro-Race 2, 15x7, ET30, 14lbs, $104.
Konig Network, 15x7, ET40, 13.4lbs, $99.
Rota Slipstream, 15x7, ET40, 12.4lbs, $109.
Kosei K1-TS, 15x7, ET38, 10.8lbs, $139.
I wish there was somewhere selling Pro Race 1.2's with E30 centerbore and ET25 or 23 offset.
