My 1990 ix this morning would stall out in neutral and and stops. Revs would sputter at about 500 then shoot down to 0. Car ran perfect before today. I unplugged the battery last night...could this have anything to do with it?
If there are intake leaks or other faults that upset the A/F ratio, a reset of the DME (loss of learned adaptation) will make those problems more evident.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
