    1989 325i Coupe, Delphin, 5MT, $1500, NH - No Longer Available

    1989 325i Coupe, Delphin, 5MT, $1500, NH

While the engine runs great since I bought it a few years back, and drives okay, it's likely buyer will be someone looking for a parts car or lemons racer. Over the past few years of ownership, it's seen about $4k in parts into it, but very little time on the road, and I've simply ran out of momentum on fixing it up. Originally an automatic, I've swapped in a getrag 260 and 4.10 LSD. It also has 14" basketweaves on crappy old rubber.

    Located in Dover, NH.

    The good:
    -4.10 clutch type LSD
-New clutch and CSB, (Remainder of manual swap was used parts)
-Timing belt, water pump, & thermostat (2 years, but basically no miles on this)
-All coolant hoses and thermostat housing
-New control arms, outer tie rods, front sway bar links, & powerflex offset FCAB
-Rear subframe bushings and trailing arm bushings (OE rubber)
-Hard and soft brake lines from ABS to rear calipers
    -Rear calipers
-Hard fuel lines (send and return)
-Odo gears & instrument panel lights
    -Battery and fuseable link
    -E-Brake cables
    -Rear wheel bearings
    -BavAuto and H&R lowering springs
-Interior is reasonable clean, Drivers seat bottom pad tearing

    The Bad:
-Rust. Rust is this car biggest weakness. Its ugly. This is why I say this will be a parts car or a lemons car most likely. Plus plenty of dents, scratches, and clear coat missing.
-Steering rack is toast (jack moved off subframe and onto rack - PS worked before this, currently turns lock to lock w/o PS, but very notchy)
    -ABS system disabled (electrical fault)
-Central locking will lock but not unlock
    -Brakes are somewhat spongy
-A few warning lights for minor sensors, but no CEL
    -Tires are dry rotted
-E-Brake parts are removed (but ready to be reinstalled)
    -Glovebox handle/lock broken
    -Hood release cable broken
-Missing windshield washer fluid hose to hood
As you can see, lots of bad, but turn this into a race car: swap in a e36 rack, patch up the rust (or not), and have some fun!

Test drives and ramp check out's welcome of course.

          GLWS man!

Sooo glad I do not live on the east coast. That rust is atrocious!

Grew up in New Hampshire and drove e36 325i in High School. The snow/salt destroyed my rocker panels and trunk lid. Nothing worse than having winter & summer wheel setup!!
