M21 turbo kit on an m20

So I've got a free turbo kit off a 524td. I want to put it in an m20. What do I need to do besides bolt it on? Will all the parts carry over? What should I do about tuning? Can I use the turbo kit at low boost until I do some tuning? Will an FMU negate the need for tuning? Or do I need to find a way to increase spark too?

I'm hoping that some spare injectors off my 530i will push enough fuel seeing as how I cant use the injectors off the diesel. This is my first turbo project and I'm glad the 524td manifold will bolt right on with only slight modification to the bolt holes.

I'm hoping the intake manifold off the diesel will bolt right on.

I plan on plumming in an aftercooler and doing a custom exhaust.

Any information on an m21 turbo on an M20 would be greatly appreciated.

Only part you can use from m21d24 for your m20b25 is the exhaust manifold.
