    akinswonder - SCAMMER

This is a warning to anyone who has sold or may sell anything to akinswonder aka David John from Trenton, NJ, also known as 325liv3 (BFC profile) on bimmerforums.

On August 12th, 2011, David contacted me about purchasing a set of S50 cams that I was selling. I responded immediately with a description and shipped price to his location (33 Pershing Ave Trenton, NJ). He paypaled me the requested amount on August 15th @ 11:50pm. I shipped them via UPS Ground on August 16th, 2011 and updated him and paypal with the tracking info and they were delivered on August 17th.

Fast Forward to Monday, September 5th. I get back from Vermont that night and check my email, only to find that a payment reversal was issued on Saturday September 5th for the transaction with David. I respond to paypal with the appropriate info (tracking info, etc.) and send him a PM immediately asking what is going on. No response.

Needless to say, my PP account is frozen and I'm none too happy. I haven't heard one word and he hasn't made any contact with me since I sent the cams, hasn't logged in here since 8/23, and was last logged into BFC on 9/5. Also, he posted the intake S50 cam for sale here as well as BFC on 8/17, the day he received them.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe someone hacked his PP account, but the lack of communication is disturbing and I always follow up with people if there is an issue. I will rescind this post if everything gets straightened out, but this is whats happened so far and hope I can reach some resolution.

Wow. What a piece of shit. He will get what's coming to him soon. In the meantime, it would prolly be in your best interest to show evidence of this to PayPal and try to get your account reinstated.

This is the problem with paypal. They will almost ALWAYS take the buyers side. Send Paypal all the info you have. Make sure there's a tracking # stating the item was delivered.

A few times on eBay I got messages from people claiming they didn't get the product (I shipped it out via fedex with a tracking #, but I never gave them the tracking #). I checked out the tracking info, and what do you know? It's already been delivered. I send them the tracking number and I get no response from them...they were hoping I wouldn't have a # so they could claim the item wasn't delivered.

It sucks....these days you have to watch out for who you sell to, not just who you're buying from.

that's why i always get tracking. tracking is only 75 cents.

The cams were shipped through my work and I've have already given Paypal all the pertinent info since they were shipped immediately with the proper tracking #s. I'm pretty confident that they'll side with me since I've provided all they're requested info, but I figured I'd post this up anyways to vent/warn you guys. Thanks guys.

I'd recommend reporting this to a mod/admin on BFC as well.
