    FS: 1970 BMW 2800 E3 Bavaria

Up for sale is a 1970 2800. This is the early version of the Bavaria that has the more desirable tail lights and trim package. This car has a 2.8L M30 engine with twin Zenith carburetors and a 4 speed transmission. This car has a rare 3.64 side loader limited slip differential. The car has been repainted silver but was originally Agave Green. The car has minimal rust but none in structural locations. This is a non sunroof car with all glass, trim, and gauges intact. This car has a clean California title and current registration.

It has proved reliable on occasional drives to work which are 100 miles round trip. The carpet for the car along with the center console have been removed but I do have those along with spare bumpers to include with the sale. This is a runner! Hop in and go, perfect Sunday driver or build the Bavaria of your dreams.

    SOLD SOLD SOLD!

If the buyer is interested I do have a complete engine, transmission, and suspension swap package available at an additional cost of $1000. This includes a M30B35 engine with matching 5 speed transmission, and complete E28 suspension with brakes.

Great looking early E3, GLWS! I miss my former 70 E3 Euro spec E3, that car liked to run. If you want to own an older BMW but want something different than a 2002, E3's are a great bargain compared to E9's that are now priced for only those with very deep pockets. E3's have the same running gear, sedan practicality and without the rust issues that the E9 has. My former 2800 now resides in the Atlanta GA area. Here are some pics of my former 2800 to include the 14" 5 lug Alpina wheels.
