I know most people have an AC shop just crimp the lines together, or make up new lines using the fittings. I noticed the hose ends for both e36 and e30 that connect to the compressor are steel, so I am wondering if anyone has simply cut the fittings off both hoses and welded the e36 fittings onto the e30 hoses? I could do that easily (yes I know they aren't the same diameter, but that's also easily overcome)
Additional info:
I am doing a 134 conversion to go with the e36 134 compressor. I have a full set of lines from both e30 and e36 and already installed the e36 parallel flow condenser. Additionally, I have a new drier, pressure valve, pressure switch, and all new 134 o-rings.
