    1989 325i S52 Turbo 5 Lug

Hey guys, the time has come. Going to sell my toy. This car has been around for a long time and ive owned it longer than any other of my cars.

This car is pretty much a E36 in E30 clothing. Besides the body its about 75 percent E36 M3.

    $7000

    Body/Paint 7 -10

The body was painted with rustoleum satin black. Its been several years and the sun has taken its toll. The car is a perfect candidate for a respray, That was one of the last things that I wanted to to do it when I finished the mechanical work. It has battery box rust but that's all.

    Drivetrain

Your typical 5 lug swap with E36 M3 front and TI rear. GC coilovers all around with Bilstein sport rears and koni front shocks. Adjustable GC camber plates up front. Wheels and tires are Staggered DS2s. NExens 255s rear and Falken ziex 225 fronts.

Stock S52 with head spacer and ARP studs. Engine has around 170k on it. About 20k of that has been turbo. Compression is within 10psi across all 6 cylinders. Running Ireland engineering Oil cooler adapter.

Trans is a 260 getrag with stage 3 spec racing clutch. I do still have the ZF trans with lightweight flywheel and sport clutch. I can throw that in if it goes for the asking price.

Turbocharging setup is custom, Holset hx35 with 14cm housing, Split pulse custom exhaust manifold, Synapse blow off valve, Tial wastegate. Fuel is managed by Megasquirt MS3X. Injectors are 60lb/hr Deka Siemens. Electronic boost controller is hooked up and fully functional. Wideband is AEM with no issues since purchase. Always fast response times under boost.

Interior is where the car is different from any other E30 ive ever seen. The car is running a complete 98 M3 wiring harness, meaning that it has the same features, 1 touch windows, speed sensing wipers etc.

Dash was also swapped as well as entire airbox. Firewall was modified so that I could retain dual climate control. Which works great. AC however was removed when the turbo setup was installed.

The car starts up, runs and drives great. However it is a Turbo car running Megasquirt. Its cold natured, and sometimes a pain in traffic. It also has a random misfire that comes and goes that I haven't had time to dig into.

This car is a project car, Plain and simple. Please save both of us some time and ask any questions you may have. And assume nothing, The car is sold as is. Given a little more attention to detail and time it could be a head turner.

This is a spur of the moment sale, My wife and I are looking for a house and ive got something else i want to invest in at the moment. So the pictures are of how it sits today, in my driveway. Hasn't been washed in weeks and the interior is filthy as well. Ill clean it up when the weather isn't freezing.

    Asking 7000 OBO

Heres some pictures of it when the paint was a little younger.

Made this manifold from scratch. It was my first but its held up perfectly. Pulses 1,5,3 in one side of split housing and 6,2,4 in the other. For faster spoon time.

Wow, having seen and driven this car for years I'm surprised by the low price. A lot of custom work and money went into this car. Hate to see it go. :(

A few years back when this car was built it was truly the pinnacle of E30 swap parts. This was one of the first S52 cars I can remember, and the rest of the E36 swapped parts were mind blowing at the time. Purpose built, serious car from one of the most helpful members of the community.

                          GLWS!
