Really Nice 1991 325ix for Sale

My brother in-law is selling his 1991 BMW 325ix. This is a nice, clean rust free, original example of a last year of production e30 BMW 325ix. The body is clean and original and the engine, chassis and drive train are mechanically flawless. This car needs nothing - no restoration project here.

Recent services include front struts, axles, strut housings, springs, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, radiator, cooling system hoses, valve adjustment, ignition cap/rotor, ignition wires, spark plugs, brakes complete front and rear, belts, air & fuel filters, oil leaks fixed at engine head gasket, power steering system and transmission. All drive train fluids have been changed.

This is a great car and worthy of a 5 speed conversion! 93,412 miles. Asking $12,500. You can’t buy and restore one for that price.

This ix is pristine but I think the price might be a little high to be honest. It's not a 5-speed and finding a good 5-speed trans is getting hard to do these days, and I think a lot of people that get into ix's look for 2-doors and the sport seats

Judging By How Much Work Has Been Done To The Car Recently Leads Me To Believe He Didn't Put A Lot Of Love IN to The Car The Last few years. The car must have sat and that's never good. I'm just playing devils advocate here. I may be wrong and it's just preventative Maintenance you guys decide. Good luck

The car was actually purchased last fall. My brother in-law who is a BMW enthusiast (he also owns a fully restored 2002 Bauer Cabriolet & 2001 Z8...). Purchased the car with the intent on doing a mechanical restoration and then giving it to his teenage son & daughter as a safe car (hence the automatic gearbox.) After we completed all of the mechanical work described (Dec 2014) the car went into winter storage, where it still is and where the pics were taken. Since then, his family situation has changed and so unfortunately the car is up for sale. He has far more into it than what he's asking. But given what the market is for these cars he can't expect to recoup his investment, just minimize the loss.

I'm flexibly available to show the car if anyone is interested.;)

GLWS. I had an '89 96k mile IX auto Coupe that only hit $5.3k on eBay. Needless to say, it didn't sell. I hope you get more traction than I did, that is a nice IX!
