Arrived at Buckmaster Depot in early September.

Buckmaster is about 20 clicks SW of Danger or about 15 clicks west of Remagen. We're out in the middle of nowhere. If you heard a rather large sequence of explosions during the day while in the Tikrit area, it was probably us. We like those damp, low cloud, heavy atmospheric density days with slow winds to the east. Makes the people at Remagen, Danger, and Speicher wake up and take notice.

That's funny Iraq has a Speicher too. I used to live in Speicher in Germany.

Smaller FOB names generally change when new units take over. The larger FOBs usually don't change. C17s use Speicher now, maybe you'll end up there. If you do, I'll buy you a NA Warsteiner from the PX.
