My cab...just realized I never posted it over here at R3V

    My 3.0L stroker cab.....

Alot of mods since I bought the car 2 years ago....it was a stock, white, automatic 320i Cabriolet. Recently though, the skinny chrome bumpers & M-Tech 1 front spoiler removed and replaced with an M-Tech 2 front & rear....the side panels & sideskirts are still not fitted and everything still needs painting so the car is quite a mess right now.......but boy does it go!! A 330mm Wilwood big brake kit is next on the list, and is definitely needed. Also, my 17" MM11-2 rims should be here soon....should look good with the full M-Tech 2 kit as 16" rims seem to look a bit small with that kit....plus MM11-2's just look right on an E30.

Very nice car! You need to get a heatshield on that hot-air intake. Where did you find the RD valve cover?

Sweet car, I would never ditch m tech 1 for 2 though. How much power is the stroker putting out?

It's not a full M-Tech I kit, just the front.

Cheers fellas....the engine pic was taken just after the engine was completed...there is already a heatshield in there. I'm an avid fan of the stock airboxes, especially in a tropical climate, but it would not fit with the M30 AFM.

I liked the M-Tec 1 front as well but no bumper shocks so if I ever bring the car back to the US they would make me change the bumpers anyway. Plus I've always loved the M-Tec 2 kit since they came out....best looking kit for an E30 IMO.

The engine just passed the 3,000km run-in period so as soon as I get some free time it will be dyno'd and a Unichip piggyback unit fitted on the dyno....I am having clutch slippage though since I'm still running with my 320i clutch which can only handle up to 150bhp.

Beautiful car, that just made up my mind on what to do with the exterior on my friend's '87 325is, MtechI front dam with painted euro-bumpers.

Looks mint my friend. Is that factory shadowline on there? I think it really makes the car look more sporty. I am going to have to look into getting the shadowline for my car.

                  Thanks.

Thanks fellas....will post more pics of the changes.

I bought the factory shadowline from BMW AG but when the car was resprayed to diamantschwarz, the paintshop just sprayed the chrome trim black to see how it would turn out.........it turned out good so I just left it that way and the factory shadowline trim is still in my closet :)

It looks like I'll just get a Sachs 325i clutch kit and change the disc to a Sachs Performance or Sachs Sport disc. Both discs are made to handle more hp than stock but the prices are somewhat different.

                            Cheers fellas.......

I reckon the M-Tec 1 spoiler & painted bumpers would look good in Bronzit. It looks good in other more silver'ish metallic colors.

BTW, my front end is being sprayed today so I'll post some pics of the M-Tec 2 front later in the week. The rear will be painted later along with the side panels & skirts.
