Is it a 100% new exhaust? If so keep in mind that all mufflers and resonators get louder with in the first few weeks of running them on your car.

Ya its new, i went ahead and had the cat removed and put in a magnaflow x pipe. It seemed to retain most of the remus sound. Got a fair bit louder, but its just right, not obnoxious.

      Im pretty happy with it

Can you do duplicate of your original video to compare the cat and X pipe sound ?

Ok. For comparison purposes, here are both videos: Keep in mind, this is an underground parkade, which may amplify the sound.

Remus with Cat still in place:
Remus Exhaust 90mm Tips 1990 BMW E30 325iExhaust sound. (Keep in mind its in an underground parking)

Remus, with Cat removed, and Magnaflow X Pipe installed:

No, car didnt stall, just trying to identify that squeak when it starts. only does it when warm. Any ideas? Starter starting to shit?

i like the initial version with the cat in place. now theres a lot of rasp. my quess on the whistle sound is likely an exhaust leak or maybe an exhaust hanger scratching something upon starting up.

Found out it was the starter

All the rasp is actually coming straight from the cat, at the middle of the car its kind of a metallic noise. Ive never removed a cat so i dont know if thats normal

Sound from behind the car is normal remus, just louder, which is perfect

I love the second one. I bet it sounds glorious whilst accelerating.
