Factory Headunit Fuse Location?

Hey guys, trying to figure out if the fuse on my headunit is fried.

Radio doesn't work... missing door sub? 1990 E30

Was reading here in that there was a fuse inside the headunit, so I ripped it out, but I don't seem to see a fuse anywhere...

Any help?

I need to keep the stock headunit because it's a requirement for Collector's Plates in Canada, so I don't want to get an aftermarket one.
