and thanks for the compliments. it took a while to find an unmolested car
here's a list of most of what i've done tot the car since i bought it.
Cirrusblau, coupe
Eibach/bilstein I installed when I bought the car with new tires
5spd
Sunroof
Natur interior non sport
Paint is 9/10
Interior is 9/10
Luke box killer stereo, serious high fidelity
New steering rack
I did a complete brake job/replaced all fluids when I bought the car
I can find the original buy thread on the r3v if you want to consider it
I have no room for the car right now
I own 3 other cars and we're renting while we build a house, a 2016 Audi A6, new Honda Fit for my wife to commute in, and a 1972 2002tii
Car has about 190k
No leaks
I bought it for $7500 and have put about $5k into it getting it the way I want which also included repainting of various scrapes, not the entire car
Just put brand new fog lights on. I run yellow bulbs.
Cold A/C
Rota hyper black 15" wheels, looks sharp
brand new Nardi steering wheel and hub
Took me a while to find an unmolested car. I'm the 4th owner but was only about 10k miles from the OE when I bought it from a dentist in Bend Oregon. I'm up close to Seattle.
$8800 and I could probably be talked into selling but I'm in no hurry. Just don't like my cars to sit outside
I would have no hesitation driving the car across country.
This is the 6th e30 I've owned and probably the nicest of all.
No rust anywhere
and I'll add that i very much have mixed emotions about selling the car. I don't "have" to sell it. I'd rather it were garaged as it has been all its life. I have a one car garage currently the 2002tii occupies and nowhere to work on cars. just about every e30 i've ever sold i've regretted. some i've repurchased and sold again only to regret it all over again. this car is a nice rideLast edited by gwb72tii; 04-25-2017, 11:00 AM.“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”
