    Diff to Subframe Bolts

I am very slowly getting through my suspension upgrade, also been a painful experiance with many dodgy stuff that previous owners/mechanics have done. Anyways I am installing the AKG 12mm offset sub-frame and diff bush set. Unfortunatly this dose not come with the hardware for the diff.

So I need to call a fastner supply and have no idea what the standard size diff bolts are. So can anyone tell me what size the bolts that connect the diff to the sub-frame are.

    Cheers

Do you not have the original hardware?

If your replacing them, you might want to consider studs as it would make getting the diff in and out much easier.

    Original 4 upper bolts are 12, X 1.5 X 25mm #07 11 9 911 694
    You need 6 washers, 2 for diff mount and 2 for cross bolt. #33 33 1 120 662
    Cross Bolt 12 X 1.5 X 55mm #07 11 9 914 636
    Nut 12 X 1.5 #07 12 9 900 047

If using a stud for the top 4 bolts I would go 12X1.5X50mm
This will give them enough length to fully seat in the bolt hole and still have enough length to accept the full height of the lock nut.

    Hope that helps.

Nice that is what I needed. Yeh still have my original hardware, I am at work and can't get to them to check the size. Didn't think of using studs instead, seems like a better alternative.

      Cheers Dude.

Am I missing something? Why are you replacing the bolts?
