Please help!!!
91 318is m42.
the orig engine was bad so i put in a 95 m42 and swapped intake and pullys.
symptom: hesitates, sputters and farts under acceleration up to 2500rpms. then runs smooth, but rpms fall at fix pedal position.
Things ck'd:
fuel pressure is great and holds
no vac leaks via carb spray
new plugs (ngk)
water mist on ignition wires at night no light show
afm test looks good per bently. no dif when unplugged
tps read 2 - 3.86, bently says 4prox?
02 sensor - no dif when unplugged
what else should i look at???
