I have an 84 with an M10, mostly unmolested.
Recently, whenever I hit a hard bump, the car loses all power, but will keep idling, and rev to 1500 RPM like normal, but won't go over 1500ish. One key-cycle fixes the issue.
Imagine driving down the freeway and then you hit new pavement, and the whole car feels like it is turned off, but if you push in the clutch, the engine isn't really dead, it just has zero power. Then, pull over, turn off, turn on, and you're back like nothing ever happened.
Any ideas?
