    Belt replacement issue. Quick question

Yesterday I started swapping all my belts for new ones. The alternator belt and AC belt gave me no issues. Now I can't get the power steering belt on. The belt is the right size, the issue I'm having is I can't get the bracket to move in order to get the belt on.

The teeth on the adjusting nut look to be fine, as does the track on the bracket. But for some reason I can't get that bracket to budge. I've loosened a few bolts in the area to see if they were holding it in place but no luck. How do I get that bracket to move without a BFH and breaking something?

Loosen all of the bolts holding the PS bracket in place (3 IIRC) and then use a prybar/jack handle/big stick to coax the pump inboard.

A couple whacks with a rubber mallet won't hurt anything BTW.

I used a screw driver and just turned the key to get it on. Couldn't get the thing to move so that worked.
