M20 swap

So dealing with a 86 e25e chassis took out the m20b27 and put a 88 m20b25 in ....ok so everything is in hooked up etc....got fuel to rail and spark car will fire with external fuel....but won't fire on its own....injector pulse? This motor ran great when pulled am I missing something on the swap engine harness pin Etc....thanks for any help
