I'm swapping a 3.73 LSD into a 92 vert with a 4.10 LSD. The problem is that the bolts half shaft bolts are different sizes. The 3.73 diff uses 10mm socket head cap screws. The 4.10 diff uses 8mm male torx head bolts.
I'd like to use the 92's half shafts, but have some halfshafts off an 87 eta that I could use if the splines are the same as the 92's splines.
Are the halfshaft splines the same on the 92 vert and the 87 ETA?
Are the bolt circles the same on both diffs?
Can I drill out the holes in the 92 half shafts to 10mm so they'll fit the 3.73 diff?
Can the 8mm tapped holes in the 4.10 diff be opened up to 10mm tapped holes?
